If you're experiencing account security problems, suspicious activity, or access issues, use this guide to resolve them.
Account locked after multiple failed login attempts
Why this happens: After several incorrect password attempts, your account is temporarily locked for security reasons.
To unlock your account:
Wait 15-30 minutes (the lockout is temporary)
Try logging in again with the correct password (see: How to log in to ViralSweep)
If you don't remember your password, use the password reset feature to set a new one
If lockouts keep happening: Your password might be incorrect. Use the password reset feature to set a new one.
Google authentication stopped working
Possible reasons and solutions:
You're logged into the wrong Google account in your browser
Log out of Google completely
Log back in with the correct Google account
Try the ViralSweep login again (see: How to log in to ViralSweep)
Your browser cookies are outdated
Clear cookies and cache from your browser settings
Close and reopen your browser
Try logging in again
Your Google account was changed or deleted
Verify your Google account still exists and is active
If the account was deleted, you'll need to use email/password login instead
Someone else might have access to your account
Signs your account might be compromised:
You see promotions or activity you don't remember creating
Your payment method was changed
You can't log in (someone may have changed your password)
You received emails about account activity you didn't do
If you suspect unauthorized access, take these steps:
Reset your password immediately using the password reset feature
Check your account email and payment methods — make sure they're still correct
Review your recent activity in your ViralSweep account for anything unfamiliar
Contact support if you see unauthorized changes — we can help investigate
Lost access to your email address
If you no longer have access to the email address tied to your account:
Try logging in with Google if the Google email in your browser matches your ViralSweep account (see: How to log in to ViralSweep)
If that doesn't work, contact our support team with identity verification information so we can update your email address
Multi-account access issues
If you manage multiple ViralSweep accounts:
Each account needs its own email address (or Google account)
You can log out of one account and log into another
