I can't log in to my account

If you're unable to log in to ViralSweep, try the solutions below based on the specific error you're seeing.

"Invalid email or password" error

Solution:

  1. Double-check that you're entering the correct email address — this is the email you used when you signed up

  2. Make sure your password is spelled correctly (passwords are case-sensitive)

  3. Check that Caps Lock is off when typing your password

  4. Try using the "Forgot Password" link to reset your password (see: Password reset and account recovery (Check your spam or junk folder if you don't see the reset email within a few minutes.))

Google login not working

Important: Your ViralSweep account is tied to the email address you used at signup. If you signed up with email but want to use Google login, the Google email must match your account email.

Solutions to try:

  1. Make sure you're logged into the correct Google account in your browser

  2. Try logging out of Google completely, then attempt to log in with Google again

  3. Clear your browser's cookies and cache, then try again

  4. Try a different browser to see if the issue persists

  5. If you originally signed up with a different email, you may need to use the manual email/password login instead (see: How to log in to ViralSweep

  6. If you originally signed up with Google and want to try logging in with email and password instead, you'll need to set a password first. Use the 'Forgot Password' link to create one, then log in with your email and that new password.)

If you're on a shared or work computer, make sure the correct Google account is active in your browser before clicking 'Continue with Google' — logging in with a colleague's Google session is a common cause of this error.

"Account not found" error

This means your account doesn't exist. Solutions:

  1. Double-check the email address — make sure it's spelled correctly

  2. Try the other login method (if you tried email, try Google; if you tried Google, try email) (see: How to log in to ViralSweep

  3. This usually happens when you signed up using Google but are now trying email login (or vice versa) — ViralSweep does not automatically link the two login methods.)

  4. If you've never signed up for ViralSweep, you'll need to create an account first

  5. If you believe you had an account, contact our support team for help

Too many login attempts — account locked

If you see a message that your account is temporarily locked:

  1. Wait 15-30 minutes before trying again (this is a security measure

  2. If you've forgotten your password and keep getting locked out, avoid retrying the old password — use the 'Forgot Password' option to set a new one and prevent further lockouts.)

  3. Make sure you're using the correct password when you try again

  4. If this happens repeatedly, see: Account security and access issues

Other issues

If you're still unable to log in after trying the above solutions, or if you see a different error message, please contact our support team at [email protected] and include:

  • The exact error message you're seeing

  • Which login method you're trying to use (Google or email)

  • Your email address (we won't share this publicly)

  • What browser you're using

  • If login fails inconsistently or the page behaves unexpectedly, try opening viralsweep.com in an incognito or private browser window, or temporarily disable browser extensions (especially ad blockers or password managers) that may be interfering with the login form or Google authentication.
