How to Find Your YouTube Channel ID

Written by Rafael Felsemburg

To ensure the YouTube Subscribe button works correctly in ViralSweep, you must use your Channel ID—not your channel URL.

If you enter a full channel link instead, the subscribe button may show an error.

Get your Channel ID

Follow these steps to find your Channel ID:

  1. Go to your YouTube Account Settings

  2. Locate the Channel ID field

  3. Copy the Channel ID

👉 Tip: The Channel ID is a string of letters and numbers (not a URL).

Add your Channel ID to ViralSweep

Once you’ve copied your Channel ID:

  1. Go back to your ViralSweep campaign settings

  2. Paste the Channel ID into the required field

Your YouTube Subscribe button should now work as expected.

Troubleshooting

Seeing an error on the subscribe button?

Make sure you:

  • Entered only the Channel ID (not a full URL)

  • Didn’t include extra spaces before or after the ID
