Data Deletion Requests

This guide explains how to request data deletion, whether you’ve entered a promotion or manage campaigns in ViralSweep.


For Users & Entrants

If you’ve entered a sweepstakes or contest using ViralSweep and want your data deleted, you have two options:

  • Contact ViralSweep directly
    Email us at [email protected] with your data deletion request.

  • Contact the promotion owner
    You can also reach out to the company running the promotion you entered. They manage the data collected for their campaigns and can process your request.


For ViralSweep Customers

If you’re a ViralSweep customer, there are a few ways to delete your data depending on your needs:

Option 1: Delete a promotion

You can remove a promotion and all associated entry data directly from your account:

  1. Go to your promotions list

  2. Hover over the promotion

  3. Click More > Delete

Result: The promotion and all related entrant data will be permanently deleted.


Option 2: Cancel your subscription

If you cancel your subscription:

  • Your data will be automatically deleted after 30 days


Option 3: Submit a data deletion request

You can request deletion by emailing [email protected]

To help us process your request quickly, include:

  • Your account email address

  • What you want deleted:

    • Entire account

    • Specific promotions

    • Specific users
