ViralSweep provides a JavaScript snippet that lets you embed your promotion on any website. If your site doesn’t support JavaScript, you can use an iframe version for the widget instead.
Jump to:
Full Page Install
Use this option if you want your promotion hosted on its own standalone page.
Steps:
Go to your ViralSweep dashboard:
Install → Manually Install → Full PageClick Copy Code
Paste the code into a blank HTML file
Save the file (e.g.,
promotion.html)Upload the file to your website using FTP or your hosting provider
Preview your campaign:
Open the URL where the file is hosted (e.g., yourwebsite.com/promotion.html)
Widget Install
Use this option to embed your promotion within an existing page on your site.
Steps:
Go to your ViralSweep dashboard:
Install → Manually Install → WidgetClick Copy Code
Paste the code into the page where you want the promotion to appear
Note:
If your site doesn’t support JavaScript, switch to the iframe version of the code.
Preview your campaign:
Visit the page where the code was added.
Lightbox Install
Use this option to display your promotion as a popup (lightbox).
Steps:
Go to your ViralSweep dashboard:
Install → Manually Install → LightboxClick Copy Code
Paste the code:
Into a specific page, or
Into your header or footer to show it across all pages
Preview your campaign:
Visit any page where the code is installed.
