Does ViralSweep provide ADA-compliant promotion pages?
ViralSweep does not currently publish a formal ADA or WCAG compliance statement for entrant-facing promotion pages hosted on our platform. We do not guarantee that hosted promotion pages are ADA compliant out of the box.
If ADA compliance is a requirement for your organization, we recommend consulting with your legal or accessibility team to evaluate whether our platform meets your specific standards before launching a promotion.
What can I do to improve accessibility?
While we don't offer a built-in accessibility compliance guarantee, there are options available to help you apply accessibility-related styling and adjustments to your promotion pages.
Custom CSS (Business Plan and higher)
Developers on the Business plan or higher can use Custom CSS to override default styles and apply their own accessibility-related design adjustments to the promotion. This includes modifications to:
Color contrast ratios
Font sizes and families
Focus states and outlines
Layout and spacing
Button and form field styling
⚠️ Custom CSS is a developer-only feature. Our support team cannot write or troubleshoot custom CSS for you. For more details, see our Custom CSS documentation.
Custom CSS can be applied to any of the three promotion template types: Full Page, Widget, and Lightbox.
What if my promotion is embedded on my own website?
If you embed a ViralSweep promotion on your own site (rather than hosting it on our platform), you have full control over the surrounding page structure. In this case, you are responsible for ensuring the page and surrounding content meets your accessibility requirements. You can still use Custom CSS to style the promotion itself.
