This feature is only available on our Business Plan and higher.
1) Connect to Attentive
When setting up your promotion, go to:
Integrations > Email & SMS.
Click Add Service > Attentive.
2) Add Credentials
To complete the connection within ViralSweep:
Login to your Attentive account and grant ViralSweep access.
Next, you will need to input your Attentive Signup Source ID.
Login to Attentive, and in the top left corner click Sign-up Units.
Under Sign-up method you will see API, and an ID. Copy that ID and input it into ViralSweep.
NOTE: You MUST use the API sign-up method, you cannot use one of your own created sign up methods. You can contact the White Glove team ([email protected]) or your Client Strategy Manager at Attentive to request a sign-up source for either marketing or transactional opt-ins through the API.
3) You're connected
The promotion is now connected to Attentive and all entries will be sent into Attentive automatically.
4) Add TCPA Compliant Language
When building your entry form in ViralSweep, be sure to add our SMS Opt-in field that includes TCPA compliant language, such as:

Troubleshooting
If you have connected to Attentive and data is not being added to your account, these are the most common reasons as to why:
Invalid Phone Number
The phone number entered into the promotion is not a valid phone number, is in a format Attentive does not accept, or it is an international phone number that Attentive does not accept.
Email/Phone already entered into ViralSweep
βThe email address or phone number entered into the promotion has already been entered into the promotion previously, so therefore it is not passed to Attentive again. This can happen if you set up your Attentive integration after you have already entered the promotion.
User did not opt-in
βThe user did not reply to the the SMS message Attentive sent to them so they will not be added to your Attentive account.
