Entry Purging

What Is Entry Purging?

Every 180 days, ViralSweep automatically removes invalid entries from the system. After this process runs, only valid entries will remain visible in your campaign.

Invalid entries may include submissions that were flagged by spam filters or entries created for testing purposes.


Why Do You Purge Entries?

ViralSweep processes millions of entries each month. Many of these entries are identified as:

  • Spam submissions blocked by our filtering system

  • Fake or bot-generated entries

  • Test entries created during campaign setup

Since these entries are not valid for promotions or drawings, they are periodically removed to help keep the system running efficiently and ensure campaign data remains clean and manageable.


Can I Access Entries After They’re Purged?

No. Once invalid entries are purged, they cannot be recovered or accessed from your dashboard.

Only valid entries will remain available in your campaign data.
