You can connect a Shopify purchase promotion to a sweepstake promotion to combine entries from both promotions. This setup is easy to manage and can be reversed at any time.
What happens when promotions are connected
When you connect a purchase promotion to a sweepstake promotion:
- Entries from both promotions can be viewed together
- You can filter entries by source (sweepstake or purchase)
- The connection can be disconnected at any time without losing data
Before you connect promotions
Make sure that:
- You have one sweepstake promotion and one Shopify purchase promotion
- Both promotions have the same start date
- You have permission to manage promotions
Only sweepstakes with matching start dates will be available to connect.
How to connect a purchase promotion
1. Open your Shopify purchase promotion
2. Find the Connect button
3. Hover over the button to see eligible sweepstake promotions
4. Select the sweepstake promotion you want to connect
5. Review the confirmation popup
6. Click Confirm
