You can connect a Shopify purchase promotion to a sweepstakes promotion to combine entries from both campaigns. This allows you to manage all entries in one place while still tracking where each entry originated.
This connection can be removed at any time without affecting your existing data.
What Happens When Promotions Are Connected
When you connect a purchase promotion to a sweepstakes promotion:
Entries from both promotions appear together in the entrants list
You can filter entries by source (purchase or sweepstakes)
The promotions remain separate campaigns but share entrants
You can disconnect the promotions at any time
No entry data is lost if the promotions are disconnected.
Before You Connect Promotions
Make sure the following requirements are met:
You have one sweepstakes promotion and one Shopify purchase promotion
Both promotions have the same start date
You have permission to manage promotions
Only sweepstakes promotions with a matching start date will appear as available options to connect.
How to Connect a Purchase Promotion
Open your Shopify purchase promotion.
Locate the Connect button.
Hover over the button to view eligible sweepstakes promotions.
Select the sweepstakes promotion you want to connect.
Review the confirmation popup.
Click Confirm to complete the connection.
Once connected, entries from both promotions will appear in the same entrants list.
Managing Connected Promotions
You can disconnect the promotions at any time. Disconnecting the campaigns will not delete or modify any existing entries.
