This feature is only available on our Business Plan and higher.

1) Connect to Iterable

When setting up your promotion, go to:

  1. Integrations > Email & SMS.

  2. Click Add Service > Iterable.

2) Get Iterable Credentials

In order to get your API Key:

  1. Login to Iterable.

  2. Go to Integrations > API Keys.

  3. Copy the API Key.

3) Complete the connection

To complete the connection within ViralSweep:

  1. Paste your API Key into ViralSweep.

  2. Click Connect.

  3. A menu will appear with your Iterable lists. Choose a list to connect to.

4) You're connected

The promotion is now connected to Iterable and all entries will be sent into the connected list.


What fields do you pass to Iterable?
First Name
Last Name
Email Address
Address 2
Postal Code
Referral Link
Signup Source (API)
Promotion ID
Tracking Source

Do you update subscribers?
Yes, if you run a promotion and we pass someone to Iterable, then you run another promotion in the future and the same person enters, we will automatically update their information in Iterable (if any new information is provided). Mainly, the referral URL will be updated with the newest URL for each promotion they enter.


If you have connected to Iterable and data is not being added to your list, these are the most common reasons as to why:

Email already in Iterable list
The email address entered into the promotion may already be in your Iterable list, so it will not be added again.

Email already entered into ViralSweep
The email address entered into the promotion has already been entered into the promotion previously, so therefore it is not passed to Iterable. This can happen if you set up your Iterable integration after you have already entered the promotion.

Delay in reporting
Iterable is having a delay in reporting. Try checking again in a few hours.
