This feature is only available on our Business Plan and higher.


1) Connect to Zaius

When setting up your promotion, go to:

  1. Integrations > Email & SMS. 
  2. Click Add Service > Zaius.

2) Get your Zaius Credentials

To connect to your Zaius account you need to:

  1. Login to Zaius and go to Settings.
  2. Click on Integrations on the left side > Click Javascript Tag.
  3. Locate your Tracker ID or API Key. Copy it.

3) Complete the connection

To complete the connection within ViralSweep:

  1. Input your Zaius Tracker ID or API Key.
  2. Click Connect.
  3. Choose a list to connect to and click Connect.

4) You're connected

The promotion is now connected to Zaius and all entries will be sent into your connected list.

5) Add custom fields

There are additional fields ViralSweep can pass through to Zaius only if you have added these fields as custom attributes first. These fields are:

  • Users unique referral link
  • Birthdate
  • Referral Source URL
  • Campaign Tracking Name (if you are using our custom tracking links feature)

If you want to pass through these fields, you need to add these fields as custom attributes first. Simply go to Account Settings > Objects & Fields.

Click on the Customers tab and then click Create New Custom Field. Under Container select Customers.

Then add the fields as a text field as follows: 

Birthdate
refer_link
refer_source_url
campaign_name


Troubleshooting

If you have connected to Zaius and data is not being added to your account, these are the most common reasons as to why:

Email already in Zaius
The email address entered into the promotion may already be in your Zaius list, so it will not be added again.

Email already entered into ViralSweep
The email address entered into the promotion has already been entered into the promotion previously, so therefore it is not passed to Zaius. This can happen if you set up your Zaius integration after you have already entered the promotion.

Delay in reporting
Zaius is having a delay in reporting. Please check again in a few hours.
