1) Connect to Sendy

When setting up your promotion, go to:

  1. Integrations > Email & SMS. 
  2. Click Add Service > Sendy.

2) Add custom fields

In order to pass certain field data through to Sendy you need to add custom fields within your Sendy account. These are the custom fields and names you will need to add in order for us to pass through this data:

3) Get Sendy Credentials

To get your Sendy API Key and List ID:

  1. Login to Sendy and go to Settings and find your API Key.
  2. In your Sendy account select a Brand > Click View All Lists > Copy the List ID.

4) Complete the connection

To complete the connection within ViralSweep:

  1. Input your Sendy API Key and List ID.
  2. Input your Sendy domain.
  3. Click Connect.

5) You're connected

The promotion is now connected to Sendy and all entries will be sent into your Sendy list.

Troubleshooting

If you have connected to Sendy and data is not being added to your list, these are the most common reasons as to why:

Email already in Sendy 
The email address entered into the promotion may already be in your Sendy account, so it will not be added again.

Email already entered into ViralSweep
The email address entered into the promotion has already been entered into the promotion previously, so therefore it is not passed to Sendy. This can happen if you set up your Sendy integration after you have already entered the promotion.

Delay in reporting
Sendy is having a delay in reporting. Please check again in a few hours.
