This feature is only available on our Business Plan and higher.


1) Connect to Attentive

When setting up your promotion, go to:

  1. Integrations > Email & SMS. 
  2. Click Add Service > Attentive.

2) Add Credentials

To complete the connection within ViralSweep:

  1. Input your Attentive Token. You may need to ask your account manager at Attentive to provide you with a token.
  2. Click Connect.

3) You're connected

The promotion is now connected to Attentive and all entries will be sent into Attentive automatically.

4) Add TCPA Compliant Language

When building your entry form in ViralSweep, be sure to add a content block or checkbox field that includes TCPA compliant language, such as:

Troubleshooting

If you have connected to Attentive and data is not being added to your account, these are the most common reasons as to why:

Invalid Phone Number
The phone number entered into the promotion is not a valid phone number, is in a format Attentive does not accept, or it is an international phone number that Attentive does not accept.

Email/Phone already entered into ViralSweep
The email address or phone number entered into the promotion has already been entered into the promotion previously, so therefore it is not passed to Attentive again. This can happen if you set up your Attentive integration after you have already entered the promotion.

User did not opt-in
The user did not reply to the the SMS message Attentive sent to them so they will not be added to your Attentive account.
