In order for the Spotify Follow button to work properly, you need to input your Spotify URI. If you input a full link the artist, it will not work properly.
To get your Spotify URI, simply copy the link to the artist and in the URL you will see a string of numbers.
For example, for Drake, this is a link to his Spotify page:
https://open.spotify.com/artist/3TVXtAsR1Inumwj472S9r4?si=PuGeIMq1QgyO-2IB3IpdZA&nd=1
The bolded string after /artist/ and before ? is what we need.
Next, append that string to:
spotify:artist:
Finally, we end up with
spotify:artist:3TVXtAsR1Inumwj472S9r4
Paste this into the Spotify URI field and the follow button will appear.
